SWORD BELTS AND HANGERS
In recent years there has been a movement for greater historical accuracy in theatrical productions. With this in mind, we have produced this line of accessories. All are made in our shop of higher quality materials than those you can purchase from reenactor catalogs.
View the WARDROBE DEMONSTRATION page to see how these items look with weapons and costumes.
PHOTO 1: RENAISSANCE NINE BUCKLE HANGERS
These are our pride and joy! The nine buckles hold the scabbard firmly, but the scabbard can be easily removed from the nine belt loops prior to fighting.
The belt and hanger is easily adjustable in three places to fit the specific size of the actor. We also have belts made for extraordinarily thin or portly actors!
ALL HANGERS ARE AVAILABLE IN BLACK OR BROWN. ALL HANGERS ARE AVAILABLE RIGHT OR LEFT HANDED.
PHOTO 2: DOUBLE WRAP SWORD BELTS
The Double Wrap belt is the perfect way to carry the heavier Broadsword on the hip. It distributes the weight across both hips, making it more comfortable to wear. With the sword hilt worn further down, it is a bit easier to draw from the scabbard.
ALL BELTS ARE AVAILABLE IN BLACK OR BROWN.
PHOTO 3: BALDRICS
The baldric is a late Renaissance method of wearing a sword supported across one shoulder. They are most associated with the swordplay in The Three Musketeers. We can fit our baldrics to carry Broadswords, Rapiers, or Courtswords.
ALL BALDRICS ARE AVAILABLE IN BLACK OR BROWN. ALL BALDRICS ARE AVAILABLE RIGHT OR LEFT HANDED.
