|Here is a sampling of the armour we have to rent. We have 16 full armour combinations. Each piece is hand crafted from 14 gauge galvanized steel - which means it cannot rust. They can be used in battle scenes (and actually provides additional protection) or simply be worn as incredibly realistic costumes. No more dealing with spray painted knit underwear! They are perfect for any play set in the early Medieval period (Macbeth, King Lear, Becket, The Lion in Winter, etc.)
Each suit consists of a coif and a hauberk. The coif is the headpiece which fits closely over the head, protects the side of the face, and smooths over the neck. A hauberk is the shirt of maille. It has medium length sleeves, covers the torso and comes down to mid-thigh.
A complete suit rents for $35 per week. If you are renting a number of suits, or if you need the armour for an unusually long run, discounts can be arranged.
