We are particularly proud of our leather goods. They are all made in our shop from top grain 8-9oz. American cowhide. This is a very heavy and durable weight of well tanned US leather. You may have seen some hangers, frogs, and belts like these in some of those reenactor catalogs. While they may look the same, most of the leather goods they sell are imported from Sub-Continental Asia. The leather they use is not nearly as heavy - and quite often not even cowhide (no, we don't know what kind of hides they're using).
We can fit most of our weapons with full leather scabbards, and supply the correct historically accurate hanger/belt for that scabbard. IF you are on a budget, or simply wish to make the fitting more expedient, use our system of bare blade frogs.
